Quthing, August 17 – – At least 422 constants composed of the independent and political parties’ representatives will race in 2023 Local Government elections at their respective electoral divisions scheduled for September 29th.
In an interview with the Quthing District Electoral Assistant Mr. Chababane Letsisi, the contestants currently engaged in their elections campaigns at their various electoral divisions located within the Community Councils and Urban Council are expected to continue with their rallies in line with Code Conduct in Local Government Elections Act of 1998.
He stated that among the contestants 301 representing political parties while 121 are independent, adding that among those representing political parties, 186 are males while 115 are females. . .
