Maseru, Sept. 27— The High Court through Justice Mabats’oeneng Hlaele has on Wednesday denied bail to Moabi Sesioana, one of the accused in the murders of a renowned journalist Ralikonelo Joki who was commonly known as Leqhashasha and an employee of the National Assembly Mothibe Mothibe and Thomello Ntsane which separately occurred in May this year.
In her ruling, the judge stated that Sesioana is a flight risk adding that he may not attend trial. She indicated that the petitioner has in his petition failed to discharge his onus in terms of section 109 of Criminal Procedure and Evidence Act as he failed to disclose whether exceptional circumstances exist.
