Maseru, Oct. 27 – At least 30 youth under ‘SEBABATSO’ youth empowerment initiative who successfully convinced adjudicators when pitching their business ideas were awarded prizes during the forum held in Maseru on Friday.
The top ten (10) will get an opportunity to participate in an African youth conference known as ‘Connect Africa’ to be held in Kenya later on. The first prize went to ‘Mamothibe Mothibe, whose family business is milk factory and Bokang Matlosa, producers of fruit drinks. Both were awarded M90 000 each, certificates and medals.
The second prize went to two youth, each gets M54 000, certificates and medals and they are: Mosebetsi Rapitso and Limpho Thoahlane. The third prize went to six youth, thus received M45 000 each, certificates and medals. The remaining 20 were also awarded M18 000 each, certificates and medals as the fourth prize. . .
