Leribe, Sept. 29 — With Local Government Elections going on today, Somololo LEC Primary School voting station opened at 7:00 am to allow the voters in.
The party agents, presiding officer and Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) witnessed the opening, whereby the empty boxes were demonstrated.
Speaking in an interview with the agency, Assistant Returning Officer Mrs. ‘Maphomolo Ntlele said the voting materials arrived on time and all the staff including police officers and party agents slept at the voting station to make sure it was safe.
