Maseru, Oct. 05 — Honouring the incredible work that Teachers do is important as that encourages them to go beyond their line of duty, this was said by the Deputy General Secretory of the Lesotho Teachers Trade Union (LTTU) Mr. Sechaba Maoeng in celebrating the World Teacher’s Day.
This year’s theme is ”the teachers we need for the education we want, the global imperative to reverse the teacher shortage”.
Speaking with the Agency, Mr. Maoeng stated that the day is observed to honour teachers worldwide., their importance and the role they place in the development of a child and communities.
