Maseru, Oct. 13 — The Professor in the National University of Lesotho (NUL) Pro. Mosotho George says Lesotho’s politicians are digging a donger much deeper, this he said during his presentation in continuing Metsi Ke Bophelo Water and Hydrogen in a Digital Expo.
Prof. George indicated that politicians are not serious about the future of Lesotho looking at how they handle issues.
He said these are the kind of initiatives that the government needs to take advantage of to respond to some of the challenges especially of High youth employment.
He said if handled well, the initiatives could bring much of positive change in the country. Adding that all these require patriotism and nothing else.
Prof. George went on to highlight that Lesotho natural resources are abandoned and in most cases, foreign countries make use of them while Lesotho is doing nothing.
Dr. Pali Lehohla, a former Statistician General in Free State shared the same sentiments that Lesotho could have been far by now if politicians had a vision.
