ANNUAL AGM ON SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH 

Maseru, Jul, 27 – Lesotho Planned Parenthood Association (LPPA) held their annual AGM to discuss sexual and reproductive issues. 

The chairperson of social cluster  Mr.Mokhothu Makhalanyane  said,  as the activist of women rights, talking about Gender Based Violence (GBV) is  important. 

He stipulated that 36.6% of women have been victims of GBV.

“In Lesotho, 86% of women have experienced GBV. That is why Lesotho is in the struggle of GBV. 

Mr. Makhalanyane  specified that women and girls are mostly the victims of GBV.

He commanded LPPA for empowering women and girls…
