Mohale’s Hoek, August. 22 — The Mohale’s hoek Magistrate Court has on Tuesday sentenced a 15 year old young offender to 1 year under probation for contravening Section 8 (1) Act 3 of 2003 Sexual Offences.
The evidence brought before the court indicated that in May, 2023 the offender by mistake inserted his private part in the anus of a 5 years old girl who had been playing with the latter at his place.
The court further heard that the offender was caught red handed on top of the victim by a 10 years old boy who is the victim’s brother,but said nothing at that moment except to ask about the whereabouts of one acquaintance whom they were supposed to go to a soccer match with, then later confided in him.
