LESOTHO, CHINA BID FAREWELL TO MEDICAL TEAM

Maseru, Mar.28 — The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in collaboration with the government of Lesotho through the ministry of Health on Thursday evening in Maseru bid farewell to the 17th batch of Chinese Medical Team.

The event also saw the reception of the 18th batch of Chinese Medical Team which will be deployed in the soon to be open state of the art Maseru District hospital.

In his remarks, Minister of Health Mr. Selibe Mochoboroane said that he was honoured to be bidding farewell to the Chinese Medical Team which will be leaving not in too distant future while also celebrating those coming in to spend the rest of the year here.

He commended the outgoing team for the sterling job saying that they worked tirelessly even when local doctors were on strike to forge ahead and assisted the patients delicately. . .
