Maseru, Oct. 15 – Whenever weather condition is bad, electricity will be cut, and this is not done intentionally by the Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC).
This was said by LEC Acting Public Relations Manager Mr. Ts’epang Ledia in an interview with the Agency, following reports that the country will be affected by El Nino as well as hail, thunderstorms and floods amongst others.
Mr. Ledia said electricity is meant to cut whenever there is something wrong with power lines, saying members of the public should understand that even when weather conditions are bad, electricity will cut.
He therefore urged LEC customers to call its numbers when electricity has cut, assuring them that they will be assisted.
