Maseru, Jan 11 — A case in which four army members are charged with attempted murder of Former Editor of the Lesotho Times and Sunday Express newspapers Lloyd Mutungamiri, has been set down for March 08, 2024, for continuation.
The Court has in this case recently heard evidence of an accomplice witness Lieutenant Mahanyane Phusumane. This was after the previous evidence he gave in July 2023 was expunged and the court directed that he testifies afresh.
The previous evidence was led while there was no electronic recording following a viral attack on the recording system within the judiciary and the defence challenged that. They insisted that the evidence should be electronically recorded. . .
