Maseru, Jun. 24– The International news have revealed that the investigations into the deaths of illegal miners in South Africa (SA) continue and so far, eight dead bodies believed to be Lesotho nationals have been reported.
The Report from Gauteng Police says the bodies were found wrapped in the white sacks by the roadside.
The Gauteng Police Spokesperson Brenda Muridili, said it is common practice that when illegal miners die underground, their colleagues retrieve the bodies, leaving them in a public place for police to find them.
