Thaba Tseka Aug 14 – The District Administrator (DA) says it is important for the district to be prepared for disasters.
This Mr. Tlali Mphafi indicated during the first day of the District Risk Reduction refresher course for the District Disaster Management Team (DDMT) on Monday.
According to Mr. Mphafi, it is important for the DDMT to be able to identify disasters and hazards before they occur.
He said when disasters occur, DDMT should be ready and well equipped to respond to the situation.
Mr. Mphafi said it is also important mitigate hazards and risks before they happen. . .
