Maseru, Oct. 13 — The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) strives to ensure that every learner has equal opportunity to education regardless of disability.
This was said by MOET Principal Secretary, Mr. Rats’iu Majara at the meeting held in Maseru on Friday with the objective to present and analyse progress on the mandate of MOET towards realisation of effective implementation of the Lesotho inclusive education policy.
Mr. Majara said the Ministry has considered the manner in which schools are constructed to accommodate learners with disabilities, saying toilets are also re-designed for learners who use wheelchairs.
