Mohale’s Hoek, October. 26 — A 28-year-old woman from Qalakheng ‘Mamatebele Mojakhomo has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment with an option of M 30,000.00 which she failed to pay, after being found guilty of contravening Section 68 (1)109 of Penal Code Act No; 6 of 2010.
The court established that between November, 2019, 13 and 15, Mojakhomo unlawfully and intentionally made a false presentation to one Likhapha Ntepe offering to sell him 500 laying chickens, and fraudulently accepted M42,500.00 but never gave the complainant any layers.
