RFP REFUTES ALLEGATIONS OF A SPLIT

Maseru, Mar. 05 — The Revolution for Prosperity (RFP) has firmly rebutted claims circulating on social media regarding the alleged departure of 24 of its Members of Parliament to establish their own faction within the party.

In an exclusive interview with RFP Spokesperson, Mr. Mokhethi Shelile categorically dismissed such assertions, emphasizing that there is no truth to the rumors from the perspective of the RFP leadership.

Mr. Shelile addressed the role of social media in disseminating information, cautioning against the potential for both constructive and destructive outcomes based on how individuals manage rumors.

He said it is impractical of RFP MPs breaking away from the party, given its current position within the government, adding that it is unlikely of a newly formed faction gaining significant traction.
