Maseru, Aug. 20 — The main ruling party of Lesotho, Revolution for Prosperity (RFP) through its National Executive Committee (NEC) has imposed a six months membership suspension on Mr. Thuso Makhalanyane a Member of Parliament (MP) for Abia together with Dr. Mahali Phamotse, an (MP) for Matlakeng.
According to the letters of suspension from the party, the duo’s membership suspensions are pursuant to Article 11 (b) of the Constitution of the RFP.
It is stated that this decision was reached following recent hearings and recommendations by the Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC).
