VOTING CLOSES AT FIVE

Thaba Tseka Sept 29– Voting closed at exactly five at Paray voting station as there were no queues at the time.

While preparing to close, he asked party agents and all the officials to come forward and witness that the seals used are still the same.

After confirmation Mr. Chakela Lekhanya unsealed the boxes and counting began. Meanwhile, two voters arrived 26 minutes after closure and could not vote.

The two who did not want to have their names mentioned said they are from Maseru and were eager to cast their vote.

They said they have spent about M1500.00 on fuel and are disappointed to have arrived late. They said they had thought the centers close at seven in the evening.

“We are really hurt as this time our names appeared on the list unlike in 2017 when our names did not appear on the list,” he said.
