Maseru, Jun.10 – Defence Lawyer in a case in which two men are charged with two counts of murder, Advocate Leaba Thetsane, says Detective Police Constable Sekopo who is currently giving evidence in the matter, is not being honest with the court.

He stated that there are things he said during the cross-examination which he however did not mention in his evidence in chief. The witness responded by saying he was warned not to say everything in his evidence.
The lawyer further accused the witness of defending the indefensible. He insisted that one of the accused in the matter, Motlalepula Mokhesuoe made a pointing out because he was tortured by the police. He emphasised that the accused was not taken to the Magistrate Court to make a confession before a magistrate because he was assaulted, and the police did not want the magistrate to notice. . .
