RAIN A CHALLENGE TO STREET VENDORS

Leribe, Apr. 16 — Though the building for the new taxi rank Hlotse is a development, street vendors are to suffer during raining season as the temporary taxi rank is muddy.

Explaining to the Agency, they have highlighted that the one year that they will be using the rank is too long to accommodate the conditions.

They mentioned that though the place was grassy, the digging which took place in order to place the shacks has left the place muddy.

In addition, they have highlighted that the rain is pushing soil while the other one left in one place causes chaos.
