Mohale’s Hoek, May.16—The Improving Adaptive Capacity of Vulnerable and Food Insecure Population in Lesotho project, (IACOV) has held a Climate Change Integration workshop for both primary and high school teachers.
IACOV’s Communications Manager Ms. Rorisang Kurubally stated that after coming to a realization that climate change has become a global concern, they approached the Ministry of Education and Training and were given curriculum experts to assist them on how well they could integrate climate change in the school curriculum.
Ms. Kurubally highlighted that the aim is to take the issue to non formal education schools, citing that herd boys also get hit hard by impact of climate change, hence the need to mainstream the topic, for socio behavioural change..
