MASERU – A reflection meeting seeking to advocate for healthy learners so as to ease quality learning is currently going on in Maseru on Monday.
Organised by the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET), the meeting officiated by Deputy Principal Secretary (DPS) aims to link schools with health facilities for increased learner uptake of health services programmes.
Addressing participants, the Ministry’s DPS Ms. Refiloe Kepa said Lesotho being a signatory to the Eastern Southern Africa (ESA) is commitment on promoting quality delivery of Comprehensive Sexually Education (CSE), commonly known as Life Skills Based Sexually Education (LSBSE) in schools, found it worthy to pilot the linkage project.
She explained that the Ministry is working together with UNESCO and Touch Roots Africa (TRA) to pilot the linkage project in different schools in the districts of Leribe, Qacha’s Nek and Thaba-Tseka… AM/BM
