Leribe, Aug. 08 (LENA) –The Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) Lesotho II is conducting a pre-bid site visit for the procurement of the D8 contract within Tsoilitsoili community council at Kolonyama in Leribe on Thursday.
The D8 contract will be responsible for constructing the infrastructure under the Market Driven Irrigated Horticulture project consisting of river weirs, water intakes, pump stations, pipelines, small dams, reservoirs, electrical transmissions, access roads, infield irrigation systems amongst others.
The site commenced yesterday, covering the Likhakeng Irrigation site and Manka Irrigation site.
MCA Communications officer Ms. ‘Matselane Mosoaboli said the purpose of the visit is for the contractors to have a clear view of the sites so that their proposals to be submitted will be detailed in regard to what they have seen..
