Maseru, July 16 — Provision of basic skills enable children, particularly the disabled to realize their full potential while also contributing to their human potential.
These are the views of Mamello Special Needs Centre Principal and Founder, Ms. Kefuoe Nkuoatsana in an interview with the Agency.
According to the Principal, whose school accommodates both able bodied and disabled children, has established that children with special needs are able to articulate themselves fluently and yet are unable to write.
Therefore, she noted that the introduction of basic skills at the centre whose goal is to offer emotional and social support to students has enabled children to show and express their full potential in terms of what they actually want to become in future.
