COOPERATORS TO HORNE SKILLS AT RESIDENTIAL COURSE 

Mokhotlong, Dec. 30 — Cooperators will hone skills from a week-long residential course anticipated to take place in the district before March next year.

The Cooperatives Officer for Mokhotlong, Mr. Tebejane Ntsiki said the course is one of the activities that are in the pipeline to ensure Cooperators are equipped with the necessary skills to enable them to run successful cooperative societies for socio economic development.

Mr. Ntsiki explained that the training will cover topics that include among others, Record Keeping, Governance, Cooperatives Ideology and Act.

There are only 15 Cooperatives engaged in different activities that include savings and credit, consumers and those in the agricultural sector.

Cooperatives are business oriented organisations established by 10 or more people working together to achieve a common goal for socio-economic development….
