Botha-Bothe, Dec. 10 — The Botha Bothe District Child Protection Team (DCPT) visited the One Day Orphanage today to connect and spend quality time with the children, aiming to make them feel valued members of society.
The orphanage’s representative, Mr. Rethabile Sootho expressed joy over the visit, saying it brought happiness to both the children and caregivers. He noted that the visit demonstrated that there are people who care for the children and want to see them happy.
“We are humbled by this visit because the team interacted closely with the children and showed them they matter, just like other kids. Sharing a meal with us sent a powerful message of love and care,” he said.
He further added, “we are sincerely grateful for this gesture and we hope this will not be the last time.”
