Quthing, August 30 — Children from some primary schools and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Centres in the district have been awarded prizes comprise of trophies, medals and t-shirts, following their participation in a competition to mark district education academic week held at Holy Trinity high school hall on Thursday.
The children were from schools in six of seven education centres of the district and the first prize of a floating trophy was won by Moyeni, second Mount Moorosi while the third taken by Dilli-Dilli.
The five-day event organized by district department of education and training since Monday is intended to improve academic results of Quthing district from primary to Grade 11 as the district currently holds positions nine in national Grade 11 academic results. . .
