HIV ACTIVIST SEES PROGRESS

Maseru, Nov. 28 — Following the launch of an initiative aimed at identifying and locating People Living with HIV (PLHIV) who fail to link to care and initiate antiretroviral treatment (ART) or who fail to be retained in care or on treatment, there is noticeable progress which is reported to have been made on this matter.

This was said by an HIV activist and the founder of Lerato Foundation Ms. Lerato Thoahlane when outlining some of her initiatives towards assisting in attaining the 2030 agenda on achieving an HIV free generation.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Tuesday, Ms. Thoahlane indicated that initiative has by far been able to track down an addition of 9 more people over the previous 15 all residing in the Botha-Bothe district who have been assisted with getting back on track with their ART.
