Leribe, Nov. 21 — World Vision Lesotho under ECHO Project Phase IV is holding a two-day workshop on sensitizing the District Disaster Management Team (DDMT) Leribe on Protection against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse.
When officiating the workshop, ECHO IV Project Officer Ms. ‘Matente Ramakhula said the main aim of the workshop is to learn about Child Protection and safeguarding in regard to children and beneficiaries.
She mentioned that some of the topics to be discussed are prevalence and forms of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and causes and contributing factors to GBV.
In addition, she said it is important to understand Protection against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and referral mechanisms. . .
