Mohale’s Hoek, July. 17 — King Letsie III 60th birthday celebrated at Setsoto stadium in Maseru today (Monday) has brought mixed reactions amongst people in the district.
Some street vendors who commented on condition of anonymity noted that even though the day is regarded as a public holiday, to them the celebration is a normal day hence they would still be at their various work stations trying to make ends meet.
On the other hand some indicated that Monday’s celebration is a big day for Basotho Nation as they celebrate one thing that is of utmost importance to them, noting that this is the only event whereby the nation celebrates without any political affiliation but united. . .
