Maseru, Apr. 24–The Catholic Church held a Holy Mass in prayer for Pope Francis who departed on Monday morning after suffering a stroke.
The mass which was attended by Her Majesty Queen Masenate Mohato Seeiso, Prime Minister (PM) Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane was held at Mofumahali oa Tlholo Cathedral Church.
Passing her condolences, the Queen said Christians must remain in peace, and pray for the Head of the Church to see eternal light and rest.
The PM said the government sent its condolences to the Catholics and all the christians for their loss. He further said the government pleads with the public to stop the murders, hatred and crimes so as to live as a peaceful nation.. PM/BM
