LeFA CONSIDERS HOSTING MOROCCO IN OWN BACKYARD

Maseru, July 05 – The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) is considering taking the Group B TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) second match qualifier against Morocco in Morocco.

LeFA Secretary General Mr Mokhosi Mohapi told the Agency on Friday, just a day after the draw for the AFCON Morocco 25 qualifiers was conducted in Johannesburg, South Africa which saw Likuena drawn in the same group B as the host nation Morocco, Gabon and the Central African Republic.

Mr Mohapi said since Setsoto Stadium is still banned by both FIFA and CAF for not meeting international standards to host any international sporting events, LeFA will consider taking the home game against Morocco away in Morocco…
