LEPHEMA ANNOUNCES END TO PASSPORT, ID DELAYS 

Maseru, Aug. 23 — The longstanding delays in the issuance of Passports and Identity Documents (IDs) are now history, this is according to Mr. Lebona Lephema, Minister of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs, and Police.

Minister Lephema announced a significant breakthrough, revealing that the Ministry has entered into a new agreement with a company tasked with the supply of these essential documents. 

Mr. Lephema stated that the decision to cut out the middleman, who had been a persistent source of delays, was highlighted as a key move towards resolving the issue.
