Maseru, Sept, 11 – Lesotho Nurses Association (LNS) held the 16th Biennial ECSACONM Scientific Conference in Maseru today.
During the opening of the event, DPM, Chief Justice Nthomeng Majara mentioned that the conference connects nurses and midwives.
“In this era that we live in, innovation is important, it helps as pandemics have increased,” she said.
She also stated that this platform allows all nurses to share ideas and network on evidence based practice.
“The Covid-19 pandemic has profoundly affected the nursing education and practice by exposing gaps and vulnerabilities of health systems and has presented important lessons for future preparedness,” she mentioned.
She added that the conference, therefore, comes at an opportune time to share lessons learned and learn from one another to contribute to attaining universal health coverage and the sustainable development goals…
