Mohale’s Hoek, Aug.28-The Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition Mr. Thabo Mofosi has on Wednesday closed a 2 day Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Small Stock Farmers from about 130 wool sheds across the country, courtesy of the Lesotho National Wool and Mohair Growers Association.
Mr. Mofosi, who applauded farmers on their determination to develop their business, urged them to continue joining hands towards developing wool and mohair production in the country.
He further asserted that following the facing out of Wool And Mohair Promotion Project, (WAMPP) there is a new project with enough personnel which will take the baton to continue assisting farmers, and concluded by pledging government’s support in ensuring that there is enough drugs and vaccines during vaccination seasons, to prevent loss of livestock due to various diseases…
