Maseru, July 29 — The Minister of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation (MICSTI) congratulated Econet Telecom Lesotho for hosting the first digital technologies expo in Lesotho.
Speaking at the expo gala dinner on Friday night following the exhibition of these technologies, Ms. Nthati Moorosi mentioned that Lesotho through this first digital expo titled ‘driving the digital economy’ is aware of life changing digital solutions available.
Therefore, she admitted that the government is lacking behind in terms of policy formulations, thus urging the industry to lead and innovate so as to grow the economy and the regulator will follow.
