MOTION, PARLIAMENT BUSINESS – MOSISILI

Maseru, Oct.23—Former Prime Minister Dr. Pakalitha Mosisili says motion of no confidence on the Prime Minister and his government is purely Parliament business and no other entities particularly security agencies have no stake in it at all.

This he said where he was addressing media on Sunday where he said that the Members of Parliament (MPs) are doing their work thus exercising parliamentary democracy emphasising that that cannot be said to be destabilizing the country.

“Vote of no confidence is Parliament’s business and in this country it is included in the constitution so it is wrong for the Prime Minister to say that when the motion is filed is improper and to make matters worse the security agencies saying that the motion will not happen. Security agencies do not have any stake in Parliament issues,” he said.
