Qacha’s Nek, Aug.11 — Mr. Atang Pita, a 22-year-old man of Sekameng, Qabane in Mohale’s hoek where the court has jurisdiction has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment with an option of a M14 000.00 fine for stock theft.
Half of the money was suspended resulting to M7000.00 but he still failed to pay hence his imprisonment.
The accused was charged with contravention of Stock-theft Amendment Act of 2003, on that on May 19, 2023 he stole five cows.
