Mokhotlong Aug.11– Members of the Lesotho Teachers Trade Union (LTTU) and Lesotho Association of Teachers (LAT) held a peaceful march from Checha ground in Mokhotlong town, to Department of Education and the District Administrators (DA) Offices on Friday.
The teachers march was intended to present their greviences to both Offices.
Their main demand is to have the Human Resource Officer in the district.
They said that the absence of such Officer makes it difficult for them to access services offered by the Human Resource Office such as acquiring Printouts.
The teachers had stated in their petition that they have several issues which need to be addressed by the said Office that include under payments and over payments to some of the teachers adding that it has been two years now, the teachers have stopped notching. . .
