POLITICAL VETERAN SPEAKS ON REFORMS, TWO HUNDRED YEARS

Maseru, Jan. 17 — Former Deputy Minister (DPM) and retired political veteran, Mr. Lesao Lehohla says, all Basotho in their different spheres should be in support of reforms implementation especially in this era of 200 years’ commemoration.

Mr. Lehohla who is also former Minister of Home Affairs has expressed his worry that while the nation is meant to be celebrating 200 years – existence of Basotho since establishment of this nation by the late Morena Moshoeshoe I, it is worrying that the country and its people are under impediment.

On one hand, the political veteran said the increasing rate of crime in the country: rape, murder, misuse of alcohol and drugs among youth is a worrying factor, one that should be attended to immediately.
