SADP BENEFICIARIES IN DISTRESS

 Mohale’s Hoek,Oct.14-About 10 farmers benefiting from the  Smallholder Agriculture Development Project (SADP), seem to be in distress, following the expiry of their contracts before they could implement their projects.

This transpired at a 1 day workshop held with the purpose of finding reasons as to why they think their contracts signed in 2022 should be renewed, considering their poor implementation.

One of them, ‘Mathuso Masiloane from Qalakheng who is in Poultry farming, stated that reasons for poor implementation differ from one farmer to the other, noting that in her case the grants did not reflect in her bank account on time…
