Maseru, Aug 23—The Ha Seeiso women are concerned about traveling long distances to access portable water due to lack of water supply in the nearby villages.
Speaking at a public gathering held at Ha Seeiso in the Metolong area, Mrs. ‘Matefo Rakhang from Moeling Village said their backs are aching due to carrying 20 litres of water and traveling long distances on their backs.
She said some of them are sick due to drinking contaminated water drawn from unprotected wells due to unavailability of water supply in their village.
