TSÓSANE COMMUNITY SEEKS INTERVENTION FROM SENATE

 

Maseru, Apr. 23 — The community of Ha Tsósane has turned to the Senate in hope of finding a solution to their longstanding issue with a dumping site in their area. After enduring over two decades of environmental hazards and health risks, community representatives have brought their plea before the Petitions Committee.

Mr. Kelebone Tsílo, speaking on behalf of the community, explained  the situation they face daily due to the presence of the dumping site. He highlighted the noxious odours emanating from the site, particularly problematic during the summer months, and the proliferation of rodents that pose a threat to the community’s well-being…
