Mokhotlong, Aug. 10 — The Senqu river closure was celebrated on Thursday as a remarkable milestone ahead of the Polihali Dam construction in the district.
The milestone event saw Contractors, Consultants, Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA), Chiefs and other stakeholders coming together to celebrate.
Speaking at the celebratory event just near the Senqu river, the SUNJV Site Manager Mr. Hou Fu Qiang said as the company awarded the construction of the Polihali Dam, they are happy to have achieved the milestone and that they are determined to do their utmost to ensure they built the dam and complete it within the scheduled time.
