Berea, Oct 18 — Women in Tourism Lesotho Association (WTLA) says tourism can improve people’s lives provided the key role players clearly understand the concept of establishing a good linkage to one another and work as a team in order to keep tourists much longer in the country.
WTLA Chairperson Mrs. Mats’eliso Mokuoane made the remarks during the meeting with Berea accommodation establishment’s stakeholders staged at District Administrators (DA) boardroom aimed calling for the buy in of Berea business stakeholders prior to the upcoming Women in Tourism in Southern Africa Summit and Expo scheduled for November 27-29 this year at Manthabiseng Convention Centre. Mrs. Mokuoane said despite having well-established and developing businesses in the tourism sector, they all need each other to grow together; citing an example of an accommodation establishment having a high influx of visitors that it can share with its neighbour, rather than postponing visitors to the next few weeks
