Maseru, Oct 18 – Minister of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police Mr. Lebona Lephema says Leader of Socialist Revolutionaries (SR) Advocate Teboho Mojapela has not been arrested by the police, but rather assisting them with investigations.
Mr. Lephema told the National Assembly on Wednesday that the report he got from the Police Commissioner Holomo Molibeli was that Adv. Mojapela was traveling in a convoy of six vehicles together with his bodyguards near Hoohlo Primary at around midday on Wednesday when the police realised that his bodyguards had arms.
He told the House that the SR Leader was therefore escorted to the police headquarters in Maseru to assist the police with the investigations in connection with the arms in the vehicles he was traveling in.
