Maseru, Oct. 30 — Women in Tourism Lesotho Association (WITLA) in partnership with Women in Tourism Southern Africa (WITLAS) and the Government of Lesotho through its agency the Lesotho Tourism Development Cooperation (LTDC) will be hosting the 2nd Edition of the Women in Tourism Annual Summit and Expo which is scheduled to take place in November 27 to 29.
Speaking at the Press Conference held in Maseru today, the President of WITLA Ms. Matséliso Mokuoane indicated that the purpose of the Expo is meant to empower women in the tourism sector, and to appreciate them with the work that they do.
Ms. Mokuoane stated that this is a regional event and people from abroad are expected to be in the country therefore, women in business are encouraged to be there to showcase their products during the event.
The executive member of the Circle of Global Business Women (CGBW) Mrs. Manapo Makhele highlighted that everybody should take advantage, prepare, support and identify business opportunities.
