Maseru,Oct.03–The return of the Morija Arts and Cultural Festival has come as a bacon of hope for the Morija community.
The official launch of the festival was held in Morija on Thursday night which saw performances from international and local artists.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency, a community member Mr. Ntsaote Moima said this event has been a way of survival for most of them as through it they were able to earn a few pennies through the sale of food at this event.
He stated that now that this event is aimed at being an annual event, their hope is that their businesses in different aspects will improve even ranging from hospitality to tourism.
On the other hand, one of the attendees of this event Mr. Frank van Dereerk said the return is exciting as it gives a feeling of local experience.
