AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK PRESIDENT IN LESOTHO

Maseru, Mar. 24 — The outgoing African Development Bank (AfDB) President, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina will embark on a three day visit to Lesotho starting on  Sunday until Tuesday next week.

In an interview with the Agency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane, said Dr. Adesina was invited by King Letsie III as the African Union (AU) Nutrition Champion thus will pay a courtesy call on both the King and Prime Minister to also bid farewell as his term as ADB President is about to end.

Mr. Mpotjoane reminded that Lesotho is AU member and has a stake in ADB thus Dr. Adesia will meet with the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, that of Health as well as the Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition to ensure Lesotho progress on nutrition issues like Kenya. . . .
