Maseru, Sept. 30 — The showcasing of the traditional blankets of Basotho has reminded Basotho of the importance of the blanket in terms of culture and heritage.
Speaking at the launch of the Nanabolele Blanket Exhibition held in Morija on Monday, the Curator of the Morija Museum and Archives Ms. Mamokuena Makhema said the launch of the Nanabolele Blanket Exhibition is to narrate the history of blankets and why it is important to

Ms. Makhema said it is sad that today Basotho have formed groups inclusive of Famo music who identify through different shades of blankets, start killing each other in unknown conflicts, but she is adamant that blankets cannot be widely associated with fights hence the museum is determined to spread the importance of a blanket. .
